Opening on the Board of Directors of Fondation du Domaine Saint-Bernard

Job Description

The Fondation du Domaine Saint-Bernard is seeking an administrator to serve on its Board of Directors.

The Foundation wishes to welcome an individual who recognizes the importance of contact with nature for health, particularly among young people, in a context where, according to the David Suzuki Foundation, a nature deficit is observed among youth.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of five administrators, three trustees, and two citizens.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The administrator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in meetings of the Board of Directors and in strategic decision making
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the Foundation’s orientations and priorities
  • Support fundraising activities and the development of partnerships
  • Participate in the reflection and development of educational activities and projects, particularly those intended for young people
  • Act as an ambassador for the Foundation’s mission and values within their network

Is This Role for You?

This role may be a good fit for you if:

  • You have experience or a strong interest in the education sector
  • You strongly believe in the benefits of contact with nature for the health and development of young people
  • You wish to volunteer with an organization with an educational and environmental mission
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills, a sense of commitment, and a willingness to contribute collectively
  • You have the time and availability to actively participate in the work of the Board

Why Join Our Team?

Joining the Fondation du Domaine Saint-Bernard means:

  • Making a concrete contribution to the education and well being of thousands of children
  • Supporting accessible educational projects, such as nature classes, school outings, and welcoming youth in social pediatrics
  • Participating in the protection and enhancement of a unique natural and cultural heritage
  • Being part of an engaged, collaborative Board driven by strong values

Interested individuals are invited to submit their curriculum vitae along with a letter of motivation.
