A magical evening under the stars: our renowned Perseid Festival is back with an enhanced program—more spectacular than ever!

Event Information
While keeping the signature experiences that have made it so popular, the Festival introduces exciting new experiences this year:
- Star Quest Orienteering Challenge
A fun orienteering challenge through the forest. Equipped with a map and their phone, participants will search for seven hidden stars scattered throughout the site. A playful activity combining adventure, teamwork, and nature discovery.
- Interactive Constellation Storytelling
An immersive storytelling experience that takes children on a journey through the myths, legends, and secrets of the night sky's most recognizable constellations.
Several returning favourites include:
- Presentations and discussions with astronomers;
- Guided hikes along the Planet Trail – a unique trail designed to recreate the distances between the planets to scale;
- Access to more than 15 telescopes, including the second- and third-largest telescopes open to the public in Quebec;
- Rocket launches – one of the Festival's most popular activities returns for another year (weather and wildfire conditions permitting);
- Astronomy-themed face painting for children;
- Food vendors, including Le Râtelier food truck;
- A family zone, the perfect place to relax between activities and fully enjoy the Festival atmosphere.

- Free for children aged 5 and under

Why Participate?
In collaboration with the Mont-Tremblant Astronomy Club, immerse yourself in a unique experience under an exceptional starry sky, in the heart of protected nature, far from any light pollution.

Good to Know
- Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended (limited quantities available). Visitors are also encouraged to carpool for environmental reasons and, above all, to help reduce the light pollution caused by vehicle headlights.
- In the event of poor weather, Friday evening's activities will be postponed to Saturday, August 15. If weather conditions are also unfavorable on Saturday, the event will be cancelled.
- Dogs are not permitted on the event site during the Festival.
