The guardians of the Domaine Saint-Bernard
In Mont-Tremblant, the year 2000, was marked by the creation of a public land trust designed to to protect the territory of the Domaine Saint-Bernard. The trustees were chosen for their integrity, impartiality and environmental sensitivity. The municipal council of the former Mont-Tremblant village wanted the trustees to be residents of Mont-Tremblant and a cross section of its community.

The eleven original non elected trustees were named for life, with the mayor of Mont-Tremblant one of the trustees. The mandate of the six new trustees is for four years.
